Laojia 74 Posture Long Form

  • Contains large movements, light yet steady footwork, naturally upright posture, with internal energy governing the movements of the body

  • A spiralling, circular way of moving internal energy

  • Coordinates consciousness, breathing and movement

  • Appearing outwardly soft, yet inwardly strong

  • Combines the study of dynamics - force, energy, motion with the theories traditional Chinese medicine

  • Laoija's style is mainly soft, strengthening the legs, causing the feet to take 'root', and using the hips to turn the body freely.

  • Uses thought to guide energy, and the energy to move the body
